to the London stores, even<br />
to C & A - a favourite with<br />

Then we would visit art<br />
galleries and the cinema<br />
and the Royal Dutch Palace<br />
which was nearby. The lovely<br />
Dutch people that greeted<br />
us all with a smile and lots of<br />
thank you’s.<br />
Once a month an RAF<br />
coach came to the shop<br />
from Eindhoven, spending<br />
time afterwards taking in<br />
the sea air as their base in<br />
the Netherlands was in midcountry.<br />
That disaster in the recovery<br />
mission of the victims<br />
of Flight 17 to the Duch Air<br />
Base brought back memories<br />
of my long-ago days.<br />
