WHO AM I?
Bespectacled, husky-voiced and heavily built
(though he has lost weight in recent years), this
Georgia attendee has been one of Hollywood's
busiest and most recognizable character actors
since the early-1990s. He was an undergraduate at
the University of Georgia where a professor once
told him that if he loved the theatre, he should
stay big. He left the college as an honor student
but one credit shy of a degree to pursue his career
at the Barter Theatre in Virginia. He is best
known for his role as Newman, the self-serving
postman on the hit TV show Seinfeld.
