OS X Support Essentials 10.7<br />
Train-the-Trainer<br />
This intensive, four-day course prepares training professionals to deliver <strong>Apple</strong>'s <strong>Lion</strong> <strong>101</strong> course.<br />
The course combines lectures with hands-on exercises that reinforce practical skills, peer and<br />
instructor feedback, and group discussion. Participants deliver assigned sections of the course<br />
and provide constructive feedback. In addition, this <strong>T3</strong> provides an introduction to delivering<br />
<strong>Apple</strong>'s IT training curriculum.<br />
<strong>T3</strong> attendance is one of the requirements necessary to become an IT <strong>Apple</strong> Certified Trainer<br />
(ACT) for <strong>Lion</strong> <strong>101</strong>. To fulfill the <strong>T3</strong> requirement, candidates must demonstrate presentation<br />
skills, training abilities, and an understanding of the course content, as well as contribute to class<br />
discussions and peer reviews. Attendees who successfully complete the <strong>T3</strong> take the <strong>Lion</strong> <strong>101</strong> ACT<br />
Exam at the conclusion of the class.<br />
Trainer Certification<br />
To attend a <strong>T3</strong> course, candidates must first be accepted into the <strong>Apple</strong> Certified Trainer (ACT)<br />
program. This program certifies qualified individuals to deliver <strong>Apple</strong>’s curriculum. ACTs work<br />
with <strong>Apple</strong> Authorized <strong>Training</strong> Centers (AATCs) to deliver end-user courses. Apply for admission<br />
by completing the ACT application. Please allow at least seven business days for your application<br />
to be processed.<br />
Prerequisites<br />
Candidates must meet the following prerequisites prior to attending this course:<br />
• Have an accepted ACT application<br />
• Thoroughly review the book: OS X <strong>Lion</strong> Support Essentials: Supporting and Troubleshooting<br />
OS X <strong>Lion</strong> by Kevin M. White, as well as the <strong>Lion</strong> <strong>101</strong> Student Workbook.<br />
• Pass the OS X Support Essentials 10.7 exam<br />
