failures <strong>with</strong> retrofitted units than <strong>with</strong> R-502-units.<br />

7 medium temperature units retrofitted from CFC-12 to HFC-134a.<br />

Evaporation temperature down to appr. -0°C. Lubricant changed to polyol esteroil.<br />

2 units retrofitted from HFC-134a to 69 L.<br />

The <strong>retrofitting</strong> was done in order to increase the refrigeration capacity in the low temperature<br />

range. Lubricant changed to alcylbenzen lubricant.<br />

Due to less expensive <strong>retrofitting</strong>, Thermo King is also preparing for <strong>retrofitting</strong> from CFC-12<br />

to MP66 for old equipment.<br />
