Day 1: Perth – Bunbury (Distance 179kms – 2 hours 10 minutes)<br />

Begin your journey in Perth and explore this sophisticated city with its<br />

Mediterranean climate. Perth is a beautiful city to explore and enjoy with a vast<br />

array of entertainment, cultural and culinary experiences available.<br />

Depart Perth on the Albany Highway to Armadale. Stop and visit some of the<br />

attractions and then continue to Pinjarra and Mandurah. Here you can see<br />

some of the famous Western Australia coastline and Peel Inlet. A visit the<br />

Dolphin discovery centre being in Bunbury is a must. Dine at one of the many<br />

waterfront eateries. Continue on to Bunbury. Overnight: Bunbury<br />

Day 2: Bunbury – Busselton (Distance 53kms – 50 minutes)<br />

Continue your drive to Busselton and witness the calm waters of Geographe<br />

Bay. Take a walk along Busselton Jetty (the longest wooden jetty in the<br />

Southern Hemisphere). View the underwater observatory at the Busselton Jetty.<br />

There is also a train that can take you along the 1.8km Jetty for those with<br />

young families or the more mature visitor. Overnight: Busselton<br />

Day 3: Busselton – Margaret River (Distance 46kms – 40 minutes)<br />

Take a leisurely drive from Busselton to Margaret River stopping at<br />

Dunsborough and Yallingup. Make sure you pop into the famous Dunsborough<br />

bakery for lunch. Not only is Yallingup famous for its beaches but also for<br />

limestone caves you can explore. While in Dunsborough, drive out to Meelup,<br />

Eagle Bay and Bunker Bay for fantastic views of the famous north facing<br />

beaches to the Indian Ocean. Overnight: Margaret River<br />

Day 4: Margaret River – Pemberton (Distance 141kms – 2 hours 30 minutes)<br />

Experience the best wineries and restaurants in the world. Visit the Margaret<br />

River Marron Farm, Mammoth Cave and the river mouth. Take a detour and<br />

visit Augusta where you can find attractions like Jewel Cave, Hill View Lookout,<br />

Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse and the water wheel. On your way to Pemberton<br />

there are many things to see like Beedelup National Park, The Gloucester Tree<br />

look out, trout and Marron Hatchery and the Pemberton Tramway.<br />

Overnight: Pemberton<br />

Day 5: Pemberton – Perth (Distance 333kms – 4 hours 15 minutes)<br />

Drive back to Perth along the South Western Highway through Manjimup<br />

where you can see One Tree Bridge, Diamond Tree Tower and Manjimup<br />

Regional Timber Park. Continue on through the quaint historic country towns of<br />

Bridgetown and Donnybrook to Perth.<br />
