Swinburne Sarawak Academic Excellence
Scholarship (Degree Entrance)
The Swinburne Sarawak Academic Excellence Scholarship (Degree
Entrance) is awarded to students who are newly enrolled into degree
programs and who had achieved excellent results in STPM and/or
GCE ‘A’ Levels or equivalent in the current year.
Eligibility
STPM / GCE ‘A’ Level school leavers:
Level 1: 1A 2Bs
Level 2: 2As
Level 3: 3As and above
UEC school leavers:
Level 1: 4As and above
Level 2: 6As and above
Level 3: 8As and above
ATAR school leavers:
Level 1: 80.00 – 84.00
Level 2: 85.00 – 89.00
Level 3: 90.00 and above
International Baccalaureate school leavers:
Level 1: 34 points
Level 2: 36 points
Level 3: 38 points and above
Malaysian Matriculation program school leavers:
Level 1: 2.70 – 3.20 CGPA
Level 2: 3.30 – 3.80 CGPA
Level 3: 3.90 CGPA and above
GCE ‘A’ Level, Sri Lanka ‘A’ Level, Mauritius Cambridge HSC,
Tanzania ‘A’ Level, Zimbabwe ZGCE ‘A’ Level & Uganda ‘A’ Level:

Indonesia SMU III – average grade of:
Level 1: 8.0 and above

Value of Award
Level 1: 15% off 1st year tuition fee
Level 2: 25% off 1st year tuition fee
Level 3: 35% off 1st year tuition fee
Criteria
The scholarship is based on the actual academic result.
For the scholarship to progress to 2nd year, the student must pass
all units and maintain a CGPA of 3.7 in the 1st year.
A waiver of 20% in tuition fee will be given in the 2nd year and
subsequent terms until the completion of the program on the
condition that student passes all units and maintains a CGPA
of 3.7 in each term.
Swinburne Sarawak Pathway Scholarship
The Swinburne Sarawak Pathway Scholarship is applicable to
graduates of Swinburne Sarawak’s foundation and diploma programs
entering into its degree program.
Eligibility
The student must maintain a CGPA of 3.7 and above throughout the
foundation and diploma program.
Value of Award
20% fee waiver each term throughout the duration of the chosen degree
program.
Criteria
For the scholarship to progress into the 2nd year, the student must
pass all units of study in the 1st year and attain a CGPA of 3.7 and
above.
