Executive Committee Meeling, February
13th, 1940.
In the absence of Edward J. Brook,
President, Frank C. Bowman, Vice-President,
presided and George Setter acted
as Secretary in the absence of Frank J.
Nagel, Other members present were
George W. Thomas and Fred C. Carstarphen;
those absent were Edward J. Brook,
M. Edward Chapman and Charles O.
Parker; Committee Chairmen present
were James W. Dudgeon, T. C. Doolittle,
Bruce B, LaFollette, Kenneth Hickok,
Allan E. Craig, R. H. Volk, ^Nm. P.
Huieatt and those absent were Donald
Dyrenforth, and C. Lorimer Colburn.
George W. Thomas, Treasurer gave a
detailed report showing the condition of
finances as of February 1st and explained
the various accounts to the new members
present. The report showed a decided
improvement over the same period of last
year which is highly gratifying.
T, C. Doolittle, Chairman Budget and
Finance Committee said that apparently
members were beginning to realize that
the payment of dues the first part of the
year would save much in postage and
stationery in the Alumni Office and that
this realization is already reflected favorably
in the budget.
