Private Sector Partnerships<br />

In addition to cash contributions, <strong>UNDP</strong> has received pro-bono support in its tsunami<br />

response efforts at both the regional <strong>and</strong> country levels. These included pro<br />

bono services from consulting firms such as Deloitte & Touché <strong>and</strong> Accenture to<br />

<strong>UNDP</strong> to strengthen its tsunami response efforts as well as work on capacity<br />

building to support of rebuilding livelihoods in <strong>Aceh</strong>. Additionally, <strong>UNDP</strong> has facilitated<br />

in-kind contributions of equipment directly to beneficiaries.<br />

Implementation Arrangements<br />

Activities of the ERTR Programme are being implemented through partnerships<br />

with a range of local, national <strong>and</strong> international partners. These include local <strong>and</strong><br />

national Government Departments, national <strong>and</strong> international non-governmental<br />

organizations (NGOs) <strong>and</strong> civil society groups, the private sector, as well as international<br />

organizations.<br />

In particular, specific components of the ERTR Programme are being undertaken<br />

in partnership with UN specialized agencies, including the International Labour<br />

Organization (ILO), UN-HABITAT, the United Nations Educational, Scientific<br />
