RETIRING PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
It has been my extreme pleasure and
privilege to serve as President of Unit
continue to be an active member, serving
as Sr. Vice President; and most important,
preserving the friendships that I have
acquired through the years. Our unit
is blessed with a wonderful group of
dedicated ladies who work well together
for the good of the order. I’d like to take
this opportunity to thank each and every
one of you for assisting me during my
term, by coming to meetings, volunteering
to help at special events, and serving as
officers. I appreciate our entire group for
always putting your best foot forward,
as we embark on journeys together, with
purpose and gusto!
Please welcome Katherine, our newly
support, consideration, and assistance
that you are known for. I have no doubt
that Katherine will be a great President
and will continue to guide this Unit
INCOMING PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
Greetings Ladies ! First I’d like to take
a moment to thank each and every
member of the Auxiliary who took part
in the 2010-2011 LAMOPH election.
I am humbled and honored to be able
to serve as this year’s President of Unit
1919. I feel incredibly blessed to be
working for, and alongside, the many
wonderful women who help make
LAMOPH a success.
Over the last three years, past President,
Betty Cepeda, has helped our
organization grow and thrive; I am
extremely fortunate to have her as
my Senior Vice President, and I look
forward to continuing the goals she
set in place for the pursuit of excellence
for our organization. With that in mind,
I look forward to seeing and hearing
from each of you at our monthly
meetings. It is with your continued
dedication and generous contributions
to both our Unit and the Chapter that
we can and will achieve new heights
in the year to come.
I hope to continue seeing every one of
you at our monthly meetings and special
events. MOPH and LAMOPH are,
much as President Lincoln said of our
government, ―of the people, by the
people, for the people…”
In solidarity,
Katherine Contreras,
