NETWORKING GROUPS
LivingWell offers individual & couples
counseling services to those impacted by a
cancer diagnosis; please call to schedule an
appointment.
Individual and Family consultations are
available for participants who would like to meet
with a member of the clinical staff to learn more
about our programs or ask specific questions.
SUPPORT GROUPS
Reminder: All programs require
pre-registration.
Support groups provide participants with the
opportunity to share information and to obtain
emotional support. All support groups are led by
licensed professionals.
Caregiver’s Support
This 12-week support group embraces the
importance of those dedicated to caring for
loved ones living with cancer. Pre-registration is
required. Meets Tuesdays from 6:30-8:00pm
at LivingWell or every first Wednesday of
the month from 11:30-12:30 at the CDH
Cancer Center.
Facing Cancer Together (FACT)
FACT is a 12-week evening support group for
individuals with any type and stage of cancer.
Pre-registration is required before April 17th.
Group is open to new participants during the first
three weeks of the quarter. Meets Tuesdays
from 6:30-8:00pm.

Good Grief
Good Grief is an 11-week time limited group
providing education and emotional support
for participants of LivingWell who recently
experienced the loss of a loved one to cancer.
Topics include the stages of grief, coping with
holidays and special events, and techniques to help
participants grow through the grief process. Preregistration
is required before April 12th. Group is
open to new members during the first two weeks
of the quarter. Meets Thursdays from 5:30-
7:00pm.
Living Water Cancer
Support Group
LivingWell is proud to host Christ Community
Church’s Living Water Cancer Support Group.
This group focuses on the emotional, spiritual,
and physical aspects of dealing with cancer and
offers support and encouragement while helping
people discover joy, hope, and healing through
the Christian faith. Meets on the 1st & 3rd
Saturdays of each month from 10-11:30am
at LivingWell Cancer Resource Center.
Open to those diagnosed with cancer,
caregivers, and survivors. First time
attendees require pre-registration. No
meetings May 19 or June 2.
Us TOO Prostate Cancer
Support Group
LivingWell is proud to partner with Provena Saint
Joseph Hospital, Provena Mercy Medical Center,
and Oncology Chaplain, Pastor Don Shank, to
bring Us TOO to our center. Group meetings
provide unbiased information from experts
in areas related to prostate cancer including
treatment options, pain control, nutrition, mental
health, coping strategies and more. Meets the
third Tuesday of every month from 10:30-
11:30am (April 17, May 15, and June 19).
Drop in! No pre-registration is required.
Networking groups are cancer specific groups
that provide an opportunity to share information
with other survivors and family members.
Groups are facilitated by licensed professionals
unless otherwise indicated.
Breast Cancer Networking Group
Meets the third Monday of the month from
7:00-8:30pm (April 16, May 21, June 18)
at LivingWell and the first Monday of every
month from 7:00-8:30pm at Central DuPage
Hospital in Winfield.
Brain Tumor Resource
and Support Group*
*Caregivers welcome Meets the first and third
Wednesday of the month from 7:30-9:00pm
(April 4 and 18, May 2 and 16, June 6 and 20)
Gynecological Cancer
Networking Group
(Open to individuals with Ovarian, Cervical,
Uterine, and other Gynecological cancers)
Meets on the first Monday of the month from
7:00-8:30pm (April 2, May 7, and June 4)
Leukemia, Lymphoma, and
Multiple Myeloma Networking Group
Meets on the third Monday of the month
from 7:00-8:30pm (April 16, May 21, June
18)
Mastectomy Networking Group*
(Open to women who have had a mastectomy.
Group discussion will focus on the emotional,
physical, and psychological impact of a
mastectomy). Meets the second and fourth
Wednesday of the month from 7:30-9:00pm.
(April 11 and 25, May 9 and 23, and June 13
and 27) *This group is facilitated by a breast
cancer survivor who also had a mastectomy,
Noel Storm. Noel is also available for individual
support sessions via phone or in person. Please
call to set up a meeting.
