It's still on you to make this right no matter what the heck the PO has done
wrong. You should have insured to cover "your" loss but you obviously had a
slip in judgement for something that was pricey. Doesn't excuse the fact
that you're essentially taking someones money. You're telling Brooklyn...
"yes I'm keeping this money and you can't have it even though you did
nothing wrong." Seriously?
No, if you read my post at the top of the page. I tried making it right. I
offered him money and cigars.
I have yet to ever receive a package containing cigars that has been insured.
If this was a rule on OH, this wouldn't be an issue. Maybe this rule should be
put into effect: Any package over $100 needs to be insured.
CigarKid you work right? Q: You ever here the term "Cover Your Own Ass?"
Well you haven't and you have lost and you need to make this right, period.
Quit dancing around this PM Brooklyn and send him all of his money back
and you can be done.
I should have insured it, but that's not a rule on here, more of a common sense type thing. So, that
shouldn't be held against me, IMO.
You keep saying its not a rule here. Are you trying to say here at OLH?
You showed a complete lack of common sense. Sad to say,but I shall hold it
against you.
Ok so you didn't make a mistake with the address. But you didn't provide
any backup for the address inside the box, by doing it online, insurance on
and on. You are the only one who had the ability and responsibility to ensure
delivery and you failed to do that.
You offered a compromise, the buyer has NO responsibility to accept that
