Pump Expendables<br />
<strong>Weir</strong> SPM offers an extensive line of expendable parts<br />
for a variety of well service <strong>pump</strong>s, including <strong>Weir</strong> SPM and<br />
competitive models. Product offerings include various sizes<br />
and styles of valves, seats, packing and plungers.
<strong>Weir</strong> SPM Valves & Seats:<br />
<strong>Weir</strong> SPM valves and seats are designed to better<br />
withstand the negative effects of severe well service<br />
applications including high pressure and abrasive fluids.<br />
The valve body design allows a greater flow area, less<br />
abrasion, and lower fluid velocity through the seat.<br />
<strong>Weir</strong> SPM now offers a bonded valve insert designed to<br />
offer extended operational life and increased abrasion<br />
resistance, while making maintenance on the valve<br />
more convenient.<br />
<strong>Weir</strong> SPM Plungers:<br />
<strong>Weir</strong> SPM plungers are engineered and manufactured<br />
to precise dimensions with durable hardened coatings<br />
and surface finishes that are necessary for rugged well<br />
service applications. <strong>Weir</strong> SPM plungers provide long<br />
dependable service and are offered in a variety of sizes<br />
for each of <strong>Weir</strong> SPM’s <strong>pump</strong> models for increased<br />
flexibility in customizing <strong>pump</strong> pressure capabilities and<br />
flow ratings. Customers now also have the option to<br />
repair damaged plungers through a plunger<br />
refurbishment program. Instead of scrapping,<br />
damaged plungers can be repaired to "like-new"<br />
condition allowing customers to reduce cost through<br />
extending the life of existing inventories.<br />
<strong>Weir</strong> SPM Packing:<br />
<strong>Weir</strong> SPM offers both traditional standard packing<br />
assemblies, as well as the High Performance Packing<br />
series. <strong>Weir</strong> SPM's line of High Performance Packing is<br />
designed and manufactured to give extended and<br />
dependable service life in high pressure, corrosive and<br />
abrasive <strong>pump</strong>ing applications when compared to<br />
older packing styles. High Performance Packing is<br />
available in two styles, with or without peek adaptor.<br />
The peek adaptor is designed to offer increased load<br />
bearing support. High Performance Packing is the ideal<br />
<strong>pump</strong> packing product for increased performance and<br />
a reduction in maintenance requirements.<br />
