Troubleshooting IP<br />
Learn how to monitor and maintain complex,<br />
enterprise routed and switched IP networks. Skills<br />

Micros<strong>of</strong>t Certified<br />
Pr<strong>of</strong>essional (MCP)<br />
The MCP is the initial step to take when beginning<br />
a Micros<strong>of</strong>t Certification Program. MCP candidates<br />
are required to pass one current Micros<strong>of</strong>t<br />
Certification exam in the MSCA/MCSE series.<br />
Micros<strong>of</strong>t Certified System<br />
Administrator (MCSA)<br />
Provides candidates with the skills you need to<br />
manage and troubleshoot network environments<br />
running Windows 2000 and Windows Server 2003<br />
platforms. The MCSA is the intermediate step to<br />
the Micros<strong>of</strong>t Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).<br />
To earn your MCSA on Windows Server 2003<br />
certification, you must pass four exams: two core<br />
exams on networking systems, one core exam on<br />
client operating systems and one elective exam.<br />
Micros<strong>of</strong>t Certified Systems<br />
Engineer (MCSE)<br />
This is the premier certification for pr<strong>of</strong>essionals<br />
who analyse business requirements, design and<br />
implement infrastructure for business solutions<br />
based on Micros<strong>of</strong>t Windows 2000 and Windows<br />
Server 2003 platforms.. By earning the MCSE<br />
credential, individuals are demonstrating that they<br />
have the skills necessary to lead organisations<br />
in the successful design, implementation and<br />
administration <strong>of</strong> the most advanced Windows<br />
operating systems and Micros<strong>of</strong>t 2003 Servers.<br />
MCSE candidates are required to pass five core<br />
exams and two electives.<br />
Micros<strong>of</strong>t Certified Technology<br />
Specialist (MCTS)<br />
Participation across these certifications enable<br />
pr<strong>of</strong>essionals to target specific cutting-edge<br />
technologies such as Windows Vista, Server<br />
2008, .NET or SQL Server 2005. Candidates can<br />
gain their MCTS by passing one or two current<br />
Micros<strong>of</strong>t Certification exams. Multiple MCTS<br />
certifications can lead to the MCITP Certification.<br />
Micros<strong>of</strong>t Certified IT<br />
Pr<strong>of</strong>essional (MCITP)<br />
Obtaining this credential validates that an<br />
individual has the comprehensive set <strong>of</strong> skills<br />
necessary to perform a particular job role,<br />
such as database administrator or enterprise<br />
messaging administrator. MCITP certifications<br />
build on the technical pr<strong>of</strong>iciency measured in the<br />
Micros<strong>of</strong>t Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS)<br />
certifications. Therefore, you will earn one or more<br />
MCTS certifications on your way to earning an<br />
MCITP credential.<br />
