OLD BUSINESS
5. Discuss and take action on recommendation from the
Republican and Democratic Town Committees to
appoint/reappoint members to the following:
Committee for Land Acquisition Strategy
Police Commission (tabled 12/19/11)
NEW BUSINESS
6. Discuss and take action on calling the Annual Town
Meeting for Monday, January 30, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. in the
Auditorium of the Walter C. Polson Middle School. In the
event of inclement weather, the meeting with be held on
Monday, February 6, 2012. The purpose of this meeting is:
1. State of the Town Report
2. Five-Year Capital Plan
3. To receive the Annual Report of the permanent
Boards, Commissions, Agencies, Committees and
the Town's Auditor Report in accordance with
Article II, Section 2.1.4.1 of the Town Charter.
7. Discuss and take action on the donation of a 1999 Ford
Contour sedan from the Towns Administrative fleet to
Madison Hose Company No. 1 for training purposes.

8. Discuss and take action on applying for a Regional Energy
Grant.
9. The following line transfers are designated as routine and
appropriate for approval as a single action by the Board of
Selectmen, if so desired. A Board member may request
removal of any line transfer item from the consent agenda
for review and discussion.
Motion: to approve line transfers totaling $254,541.74

11. Liaison Reports/Selectmen Comments
Adjourn to Executive Session
12. Discussion of union negotiation strategy
Adjourn back to Regular Session
13. Discuss and take action on the ratification of the UPSEU
Contract (7/1/2011 - 6/30/2015) for the Police Department
Civilian Employees. The employees ratified the contract
on 12/28/11 with a vote of 8-2.
