OLD BUSINESS
5. Discuss and take action on approving the job description
for the Zoning Enforcement Officer. Recommended by the
Job Evaluation Committee (JEC) on 1/25/12 to Board of
Selectmen. (tabled 2/13/12)
NEW BUSINESS
6. Discuss and take action on proclaiming the Month of April
as “Donate Life Connecticut Month” in the Town of
Madison.
7. Discuss and take action on waiving building permit fee for
an Eagle Scout project at the First Congregational Church.
8. Discuss and take action on naming the new park at the
former Griswold Airport site.
9. Discuss and take action on calling a Public Hearing on the
preliminary Town and Board of Education budgets as
recommended by the Board of Finance on Monday, April
23, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. in the Auditorium of the Walter C.
Polson Middle School in accordance with the Town Charter
(10.5.E).

10. Presentation from Connecticut DOT on the planned
replacement of a small bridge on Horsepond Road over
Huzzle Guzzle Brook.
11. Discuss and take action on authorizing the First Selectman
to apply for a targeted Historic Document Preservation
Program Grant from the Connecticut State Library and to
consider the Town Clerk as applicant for the Grant.
12. Discuss and take action on continuing to use the services of
Attorney John Watts for the collection of delinquent real
estate taxes.
13. Discuss and take action on a salary increase for Joseph
Petrella, Senior Services Supervisor, for successfully
completing his 6-month probationary period.
14. Discuss and take action on appointing Nancy Martucci as
Acting Town Clerk.
15. Discuss and take action on modifying Special
Appropriation for Surf Club Wall.
16. The following line transfers are designated as routine and
appropriate for approval as a single action by the Board of
Selectmen, if so desired. A Board member may request
removal of any line transfer item from the consent agenda
for review and discussion.
