OLD BUSINESS<br />

5. Discuss and take action on approving the job description<br />

for the Zoning Enforcement Officer. Recommended by the<br />

Job Evaluation Committee (JEC) on 1/25/12 to Board of<br />

Selectmen. (tabled 2/13/12)<br />

NEW BUSINESS<br />

6. Discuss and take action on proclaiming the Month of April<br />

as “Donate Life <strong>Connecticut</strong> Month” in the Town of<br />

<strong>Madison</strong>.<br />

7. Discuss and take action on waiving building permit fee for<br />

an Eagle Scout project at the First Congregational Church.<br />

8. Discuss and take action on naming the new park at the<br />

former Griswold Airport site.<br />

9. Discuss and take action on calling a Public Hearing on the<br />

preliminary Town and Board of Education budgets as<br />

recommended by the Board of Finance on Monday, April<br />

23, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. in the Auditorium of the Walter C.<br />

Polson Middle School in accordance with the Town Charter<br />

(10.5.E).


10. Presentation from <strong>Connecticut</strong> DOT on the planned<br />

replacement of a small bridge on Horsepond Road over<br />

Huzzle Guzzle Brook.<br />

11. Discuss and take action on authorizing the First Selectman<br />

to apply for a targeted Historic Document Preservation<br />

Program Grant from the <strong>Connecticut</strong> State Library and to<br />

consider the Town Clerk as applicant for the Grant.<br />

12. Discuss and take action on continuing to use the services of<br />

Attorney John Watts for the collection of delinquent real<br />

estate taxes.<br />

13. Discuss and take action on a salary increase for Joseph<br />

Petrella, Senior Services Supervisor, for successfully<br />

completing his 6-month probationary period.<br />

14. Discuss and take action on appointing Nancy Martucci as<br />

Acting Town Clerk.<br />

15. Discuss and take action on modifying Special<br />

Appropriation for Surf Club Wall.<br />

16. The following line transfers are designated as routine and<br />

appropriate for approval as a single action by the Board of<br />

Selectmen, if so desired. A Board member may request<br />

removal of any line transfer item from the consent agenda<br />

for review and discussion.<br />

Motion: to approve line transfers totaling $83,196<br />
