<strong>Town</strong> Common Preservation<br />

Committee<br />

The <strong>Town</strong> Common Preservation Committee<br />

was appointed in 1999 to continue the work<br />

<strong>of</strong> the <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Town</strong> Common Study Committee.<br />

Through grants and donations the Committee<br />

has made many improvements to the <strong>Town</strong><br />

Common. The major items include installing <strong>of</strong><br />

an underground electrical system, an irrigation<br />

system, a community bulletin board, restoration<br />

<strong>of</strong> the temperance fountain, cleaning and<br />

repairing <strong>of</strong> the war monuments, replacing the<br />

flag pole and installing new benches and trash<br />

barrels.<br />

The Committee would like to thank everyone<br />

who has contributed to the restoration <strong>of</strong> the<br />

<strong>Town</strong> Common. Please help the Committee to<br />

maintain this beautiful piece <strong>of</strong> property for the<br />

<strong>Town</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Uxbridge</strong>.<br />

Website Committee<br />

The Committee is presently focused on<br />
