6.19 Other than the fields that surround the village this is the most important and distinctive area in<br />
<str<strong>on</strong>g>Rollest<strong>on</strong></str<strong>on</strong>g>, implying its age and its associati<strong>on</strong> with agriculture. It creates a rural characteristic at<br />
the heart of village. It is a street which feels comfortable, friendly and inviting even if tractor<br />
mud occasi<strong>on</strong>ally leaves it a bit untidy. It is an important short link between the village centre<br />
and the bucolic view from the bridge at the ford and the space between the Brookhouse Hotel<br />
and the first cottage <strong>on</strong> Brookside.<br />
