which is based on the weight of the boars, the thorax <strong>de</strong>pth, thorax width and the body<br />
length, obtained for boars <strong>si</strong>x months of age, can be used for the selection of paternal<br />
breed boars. For the paternal breed boars we preferred and retained for reproduction<br />
those that have the el<strong>de</strong>st compactity in<strong>de</strong>x, in addition of the selection of own<br />
performance for the traits with economical importance. Consequently, the<br />
clas<strong>si</strong>fication for the paternal breed boars is <strong>de</strong>crea<strong>si</strong>ng by the compactity in<strong>de</strong>x
