ABSTRACT:<br />

There has been examinatecl the pos<strong>si</strong>bility to obtain plants from sugar beef I eef callus. It<br />

was used for callus culture I eef'fragments pr elevatedfrom young sugar beet plants. Callus<br />

have been induced to 63,8 % ofexplants on a MS medium. For organogeene<strong>si</strong>s we have<br />

been used 3 medium: Murashige-Skoog, De Greef and Jacobs and Linsmaier-Skoog. The<br />

best organogeene<strong>si</strong>s (83, 7 %) was obtained on Linsmaier-Skoog and Murashige-Skoog<br />

(79,8 %). We have regenereted 226 plants (89 on Linsmaier-Skoog medium. 74 on<br />

Murashige-Skoog and 63 on De Greef and Jacobs medium) with any modification in<br />

plants.
