BEHIND THE NUMBERS THE POWER OF HIGH-IMPACT BUSINESS HIGH-IMPACT ENTREPRENEURS excel in a marketplace where their desire to start a business and the potential for more returns from self-employment exists. Endeavor Entrepreneurs have seen their incomes rise 113% since becoming entrepreneurs. ENDEAVOR ENTREPRENEURS take measures to differentiate themselves above the perception of corruption in their culture. An Endeavor Entrepreneur is 92% more likely to have external financial assessments compared to the average company in his/her market. HIGH-IMPACT ENTREPRENEURS create the most jobs. 28 Endeavor Companies employ more than 500 people in their local country. HIGH-IMPACT ENTREPRENEURS often have strong international appeal, indicating a business’ long term sustainability and growth potential. An Endeavor Entrepreneur is twice as likely to have international presence than the average company in his/her country. ENDEAVOR ENTREPRENEURS innovate in markets and create new ones. They attract others into the industries, sparking growth. 62% of Endeavor Entrepreneurs had a competitor replicate his/her business practices. HIGH-IMPACT ENTREPRENEURS are more dedicated to innovation; Endeavor Entrepreneurs spend 20 times more on R&D than the average entrepreneur in the emerging markets. They are also 88% more likely to innovate in their market, based on use of new technology and patent registration. HIGH-IMPACT ENTREPRENEURS show commitment to the creation of an entrepreneurial ecosystem. Endeavor Entrepreneurs have invested over $10 million in new businesses as an Angel Investor or Venture Capitalist. In addition, 55% of Endeavor Entrepreneurs have been involved in the creation of another venture. ENDEAVOR changes the investment climate. 27 new Venture Capital funds have been launched by members of Endeavor’s network since those members joined Endeavor’s network. ENDEAVOR helps entrepreneurs achieve their high-impact potential. 82% of Endeavor Entrepreneurs state that they would not have otherwise been able to meet their mentor without the Endeavor network. Endeavor Entrepreneurs also have accessed nearly $1 billion in funding subsequent to their selection by Endeavor. 32 33
