ENDEAVOR MEXICO’S REGIONAL EXPANSION<br />

In 2008, <strong>Endeavor</strong> Mexico launched an aggressive strategy to increase its presence<br />

across the nation. <strong>Endeavor</strong> has partnered with universities and the top business leaders<br />

in the states of Puebla, Guanajuato, Baja California, Chiapas, Aguascalientes, Jalisco<br />

and Nuevo León to launch a franchise office in each place. <strong>Endeavor</strong> is creating<br />

“mini-<strong>Endeavor</strong>s” by selecting young entrepreneurs—some of whom may become<br />

full fledged <strong>Endeavor</strong> Entrepreneurs—and then providing them with a network of<br />

local business leaders and consulting services.<br />

MEDIA<br />

The media plays a hugely important role in legitimizing the work of High-<br />

Impact Entrepreneurs. This is especially critical in cultures that do not celebrate<br />

the success of entrepreneurs.<br />

<strong>Endeavor</strong> is a proud partner of Global Entrepreneurship Week from November 17–23,<br />

2008. Global Entrepreneurship Week is designed to unleash the power of entrepreneurship<br />

all over the world. In 2007, Entrepreneurship Week USA and Enterprise Week UK involved<br />

nearly a million individuals. This year, as the initiative goes global, that number will<br />

be vastly exceeded.<br />

BRAZIL ALONE PLANS TO REACH 1 MILLION PEOPLE DIRECTLY<br />

AND 100 MILLION PEOPLE THROUGH ITS MEDIA PARTNERSHIPS<br />

WITH BRAZIL’S FOUR TOP TV STATIONS!<br />

Every <strong>Endeavor</strong> affiliate plans to host conferences, roundtables, business plan competitions,<br />

innovation challenges, and networking events geared towards young, aspiring entrepreneurs.<br />

As of July 2008, <strong>Endeavor</strong> had partnered with over 300 local organizations to unleash the<br />

spirit of entrepreneurship. Please reach out to outreach@endeavor.org to get involved!<br />

In Turkey, <strong>Endeavor</strong> has formed partnerships with Doğan Media Group, a leading<br />

media company that owns several magazines, to promote <strong>Endeavor</strong>’s work. Hürriyet,<br />

which is owned by <strong>Endeavor</strong> Board Member Vuslat Dogan Sabancı, runs regular features<br />

on <strong>Endeavor</strong> Entrepreneurs. Referans Newspaper hosts an annual “Fast Fish” award for<br />

companies that have demonstrated successful rapid growth and provides <strong>Endeavor</strong> with<br />

the most promising companies to enter <strong>Endeavor</strong>’s Search & Selection process.<br />

SHARING BEST BUSINESS PRACTICES<br />

<strong>Endeavor</strong> Argentina’s entrepreneurs are changing the way that business is conducted.<br />

<strong>Endeavor</strong> and the American Express Foundation are implementing the first ever CSRentrepreneur<br />

program in Argentina. The program aims to identify and support entrepreneurs<br />

that want to integrate an economic and social impact into the visions of their companies<br />

and into their leadership. <strong>Endeavor</strong> Entrepreneurs representing the tech, energy, logistics,<br />

and consumer goods sectors are learning about and incorporating CSR into their operations.<br />
