The Eastlake Football Club made a big statement
last weekend when they handed out a footy lesson
to Tuggeranong. In a game that most pundits
thought could have gone either way, it was the
Demons who really flexed some muscle to record
a convincing win. They have now all but secured a
finals birth and are looking dangerous, just as they
were around the same time last year.
Congratulations to the GIANTS for taking its home
game to the Riverina, what a great chance for both
clubs and the League to showcase the great standard
of footy that is the NEAFL.
Queanbeyan are back at home on Sunday after their
road trip last weekend to Southport, and they host the
powerful Swans. Don’t be surprised to see the Tigers
stretch Sydney, as they were a lot closer to the Sharks
last week than what the final score suggested.

BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY 7 SEPTEMBER AT THE HELLENIC CLUB IN WODEN.

Ainslie, fresh off the bye, will look to stretch their
winning streak to six when they take on the in form
Demons at Manuka this Saturday. A cracking game
is guaranteed.
The GIANTS and Belconnen hit the ground this
Saturday when they play at Robertson Oval Wagga.
