Re: Tuition adjustment invoice to the families of DP candidates
Dear Families,
Currently your child is a Diploma Program candidate, and families of the candidates are charged for
the IB examination fees (please see Appendix)
By mid-May of DP year 1 – Grade 11, the ISB business office will issue a tuition invoice for the
following school year – DP Year 2, and the invoice will include the tuition adjustment to cover the
IB examinations.
By doing this, students registered will meet the first IB registration deadline, and families will be
charged the lowest IB fee.
Students class results are assessed and monitored on an on-going basis, and the Year 1 quarters 1- 3
academic achievements will be used to determine if the student would keep the full IB DP candidate
status, or the IB DP certificate status.
Families of the DP full and certificate candidates only will receive from the business office a tuition
invoice with the tuition adjustment.
If the circumstances change, and consequently, the student’s IB candidate status changes as well, but
before November 15 of the Senior year, the ISB Business Office will reimburse the families the cost
of the IB fees. After this deadline, no reimbursement will be possible.

APPENDIX
1. The International School of Belgrade charges the families of Diploma Program candidates
the following IB fees:
*fees are subject to annual change by the IBO – fees estimation for 2012
‣ Registration fee (per candidate) before November 15 $ 145
‣ Subject fee (per subject / per candidate) $ 100
‣ Re-take exam fee (per candidate) $ 100
(TOK and EE including)
2. Additionally, families will cover the cost of any registration amendments (per candidate), e.g.
amendment to a registration category, subject, level, including theory of knowledge and the
extended essay), and the appeals (per candidate)
‣ Between the first and second registration deadline $ 32
‣ After the second registration deadline, January 15 $ 127
‣ Appeals (under article 29 of the General regulations) $ 237
3. IB charges covered by the school
‣ Within the period between 6 th July (IB results issued) – September 15 th , the candidate
might show the intent to ask for the IB service “Enquiry upon results”.
‣ With the agreement of the subject teacher and the IB DP coordinator, the coordinator
would apply for the service of the specific exam(s) remarking.
4. Legalization of IB results / diploma or certificates
For a number of countries, such as India, Poland, Turkey, Serbia, Croatia, the apostille stamp
(The Hague Stamp) replaces legalization by the consulate.
However, a number of countries, such as Italy, Slovenia, Egypt, Argentina, ask for the IB
diploma / certificates to be legalized for the purpose of their country’s universities entrance.
Upon students or parents request, the IB DP coordinator will apply for the service, and the
families will be charged for the legalization of the diploma / certificate.

‣ IB results to universities (per candidate) - there is no charge for first six universities
