AOE Arts Council Board for 2013-14
AOE Arts Council is pleased to announce
that, following its March 27, 2013 AGM,
Kathy MacLellan has been elected President
of its Board of Directors, replacing Heather
Jamieson, who acted as President for
the past six years. Kathy brings with her
experience from serving as Chair of MASC
from 2007-2013 and as a past Director of
the Ottawa School of Speech & Drama. Her
connection to the performing arts world as
a writer, narrator, actor, puppeteer and Co-
Artistic Director with Rag and Bone Puppet
Theatre will certainly complement the insight
she will contribute during her tenure with the
Board.
The Board has added two new directors
who are members of the artistic community;
Anik Bouvrette, Artistic Director of Tara
Luz Danse, and Karen Goetzinger, who is
an established fibre artist. A new role was
also appointed to Denis St. Jules as Vice-
President/Director Public.
AOE’s staff and Board are happy to
welcome these appointments as we work
together to fulfill the Council’s strategic
directions in the coming year.
