Application<br />

The temperature <strong>sensor</strong> set is designed for use with the<br />

Danfoss energy calculator type INFOCAL 5 for measurement of<br />

the energy consumption in a district heating net.<br />

To ensure an accurate measurement of the temperature<br />

difference according to EN 1434, the <strong>sensor</strong>s are delivered as<br />

matched pairs.<br />

The <strong>sensor</strong> set can be supplied with type approval marking<br />

according to local demands. Before order/delivery Danfoss<br />

must therefore be in possesion of the necessary local<br />

approvals for each of the <strong>sensor</strong> lengths for each country. The<br />

<strong>sensor</strong> set can also be supplied with first time verification* with/<br />

without certificate.<br />

* Country dependent, if Danfoss is in possession of local approvals.<br />

Sensor <strong>sets</strong> can always be delivered without any approvals for multiple-purpose applications.<br />

The Danfoss instrumentation range contains:<br />

MAGFLO ® electromagnetic flowmeters<br />

MAGFLO ® flowmeters are used for all electrically conductive<br />

liquids.<br />

• The water treatment sector – enclosures are IP 67 as standard.<br />

SONOFLO ® ultrasonic flowmeters<br />

SONOFLO ® flowmeters measure flow in full pipes.<br />

SONOFLO ® flowmeters measure media in liquid form, irrespec-tive<br />

of electrical conductivity.<br />

The range includes a one- to four-track flowmeter, SONO 3000. The<br />

meter is also available in a compact Ex-version.<br />

SONOFLO ® flowmeters can also be installed on existing pipes,<br />

providing low cost installations, especially where large pipes are<br />

concerned.<br />

MASSFLO ® mass flowmeters<br />

MASSFLO ® flowmeters measure flow direct in kg/h. In addition,<br />

MASSFLO ® flowmeters measure:<br />

• Density<br />

• <strong>Temperature</strong><br />

• Sugar concentration i.e. °Brix<br />

MASSFLO ® flowmeters are available in stainless steel, Hastelloy<br />

and with integrated heating.<br />

MASSFLO ® flowmeters can be obtained in an intrinsically safe<br />

version for explosive areas.<br />
