Joint Simulator<br />
Joint simulators are most frequently used to certify the<br />
repeatability of nutrunners before being installed on a production<br />
line and are also an excellent means of testing nutrunners<br />
following repair.<br />
The Joint Simulator can simulate and test the torque output of<br />
nutrunners on both hard and soft joints. Each Joint Simulator<br />
is supplied with a quantity of spring washers which are used to<br />
test tool accuracy. Torque per revolution is varied by stacking the<br />
spring washers in different combinations.<br />
Electronic torque testing is<br />
accomplished by attaching<br />
an external rotary transducer<br />
between the tool’s square drive<br />
and the socket.<br />
