UNIFORM SHOP NEWS
Welcome Back!!!
The shop has been quite busy with everyone topping up on
uniforms and lots of new enrolments. A big thankyou to Tanya,
Stephanie and the other volunteers who have been helping out.
We are in need of a volunteer for Thursday afternoons (one of
our busiest times). Duties would include unpacking stock, serving,
making phonecalls etc. If you would like to help the school in this
way and can help for a few hours each week (or fortnight) please
speak with Tanya at the shop or email alison.gill@spcc.nsw.edu.
au.
I have received a few emails regarding what is the correct
uniform. There are a few ways to gain answers....1) Get a copy
of the uniform policy form the shop, 2) download one from the
uniform shop section on the website or 3) ask one of the school
executive staff members.
The shop also has photos of acceptable and non-acceptable shoes
for both everyday and for sport. Have a look when it suits you.
Blazers – Blazers are compulsory for all students Year 5 and
above. If you have not ordered your child’s yet, please visit
the shop, try on a sample and place an order with payment.
To guarantee that you will get your in time for term 2 please
organize this by Thursday, 20th February.
Grey socks - there are a few families waiting for long grey
socks. We are expecting them within the next week and will call
you as soon as they arrive.
Art smocks – Avoid permanent marks from paint, glue, textas
etc spoiling the uniform. These art smocks have a high neck, long
sleeves and cover the whole uniform. Made from cotton, they
are comfortable & machine washable. Many JS students have
already purchased one for this year.

3 ways to purchase uniforms
1) You and/or your child visit the shop
2) Phone the school/follow prompts to uniform shop and place
an order - Items collected by parent, child or sent to supplied
address by Fastway couriers at a cost of $10.
3) Place an order online via school website. Click on “Uniform
Shop” tab and the order form will appear. You will be contacted
for payment.
Second-Hand items: Over 25 bags of items have been
handed in over the past few weeks and 15 of them processed
so far. See the list below and grab a bargain. If you would like
to donate some items, or you would like the shop to sell them
on consignment for you, please bring them in for processing. To
save you time, consignment forms are available on the website
page so you can fill it in (back and front) before visiting the
shop.
