resting, rather than during active exertion;

SUDS
(Sudden Unexplained Death Syndrome)
is now referred to more frequently as:
SUNDS
(Sudden Unexplained Nocturnal Death Syndrome)
Definition:
‘Lai Tai’ or SUNDS
Sudden death during sleep (mainly nocturnal sleep,
but may also occur during daytime resting or
napping) in previously healthy individuals, without
known predisposing illness, predominantly in
males with ethnic origins in the Northeastern
region of Thailand, ages from 21-45 yrs, and with no
definitive pathological findings.
