Silver Beavers<br />
The National Silver Beaver Award is the highest award a local Boy Scout<br />
<strong>Council</strong> can bestow upon a volunteer Scouter in recognition of distinguished<br />
service to youth.<br />
Ten distinguished Scouters were recognized on February 20, <strong>2010</strong>.<br />

Ken Leggate inducted into<br />
National Hall of Leadership<br />
The 100th Anniversary National Hall of Leadership is not<br />
a hall or building in the traditional sense, but its purpose<br />
is just as significant. The National Hall of Leadership was<br />
created as part of the BSA 100th Anniversary and provided<br />
an opportunity to recognize outstanding leadership by a<br />
Scout, Scouting volunteer or registered leader who has<br />
made a significant difference.<br />

Dickinson, ND<br />
Kenneth L. Leggate from Dickinson, ND was selected to<br />
represent the <strong>Council</strong> in the National Hall of Leadership.<br />
Ken joined a select group of individuals honored<br />
during Scouting’s centennial year for their outstanding<br />
leadership and dedication in bringing to life the Scout<br />
Oath and Law.<br />
