Brett Lubbe, class of 2011, was a valuable part of the football and basketball
programs at Faith Lutheran. He holds the record as the all-time leading scorer in
the basketball program and is 4th on the all-time receiving yards list. He currently
attends Wisconsin Lutheran College and is a member of the Men’s Basketball
Team where he was recently named player of the week.
From a recent press release: Wisconsin Lutheran College sophomore forward
Brett Lubbe (Las Vegas, Nev./Faith Lutheran) averaged 15 points and 11 rebounds
per game as the Warriors went 1-1 last week. Lubbe recorded his first career double-double
by posting career highs of 18 points and 13 rebounds Wednesday in a
72-67 loss at Rockford. He followed with 12 points and a team-high nine rebounds
in a 90-88 overtime win over Concordia Chicago Saturday. For the week, Lubbe
shot 65 percent (13-for-20) from the floor and a perfect 100 percent (4-for-4) from
the free-throw line.

Goals
Technology is the crux of why the
Business Advisory Council exists.
Through membership funds, thousands of dollars have
been applied to building state-of-the-art science and
computer labs at FLMS&HS – allowing students to maintain
their progress in a changing world. However, keeping up
with changes in technology requires ongoing funds so our
students don’t get behind. Your membership is crucial to
ensure this doesn’t happen. Your membership helps enhance
learning in these areas: • LABS • SCIENCE • COMPUTERS
Activities
The Business Advisory
Council hosts two breakfast
seminars during the school year. The public is invited to the
seminars featuring speakers of interest to the Las Vegas
community with insightful news on current events around our
city and state.
To show appreciation for all the support the Business
Advisory Council gives the school, an annual wine tasting
event is held in honor of BAC members!
All for a tax-deductible
donation of $1,000!

Sponsors receive promotional recognition in the pre-event publicity campaigns as well
as recognition at the event. Sponsorships help us off-set the costs of putting on the
seminar, thus enabling us to put more event proceeds towards the technology needs at
Faith Lutheran.
