SCHOOL TERM DATES <strong>2008</strong>/<strong>09</strong><br />
Please find attached the LEA’s term dates for the school year <strong>2008</strong>/<strong>09</strong>. The dates follow<br />
a similar pattern to those set in previous years.<br />
May I remind Community and Controlled <strong>School</strong>s that they should follow the term dates<br />
as set by the LEA.<br />
Aided and Foundation <strong>School</strong>s set their own dates but meet any additional transport or<br />
catering costs if they deviate from the LA’s set dates.<br />
It is important for schools to notify the Transport Team, Property and Transport Services<br />
if term dates differ from the standard term dates.<br />
