Reporting the findings<br />

Findings on the use <strong>an</strong>d effectiveness of mediation<br />

should be reported at least once a year <strong>an</strong>d shared<br />

with key stakeholders including trade unions,<br />

employee representative bodies, line m<strong>an</strong>agers,<br />

senior m<strong>an</strong>agers <strong>an</strong>d media<strong>to</strong>rs. You may decide<br />

that it is worth communicating some of the findings<br />

directly with all employees either by email or at team<br />

meetings as a way of publicising the scheme.<br />

Ensuring that there is a robust evaluation of<br />

mediation <strong>an</strong>d that this is effectively communicated<br />

is essential <strong>to</strong> guar<strong>an</strong>tee ongoing support from senior<br />

m<strong>an</strong>agement for resources <strong>an</strong>d from line m<strong>an</strong>agers<br />

<strong>an</strong>d employees for ongoing participation as well as <strong>to</strong><br />

make sure of ongoing improvement.<br />
