PUNJAB NORTH
Phagwara : In a meeting of the branch
'Prarthana Pushpanjali' was released under project
Bal Yuva and Praudh Sanskar. Pitchkaries were
distributed to children. Prominent singer Ravi
Mangal performed well with holi songs. Branch
donated 5000/- to one patient as medical aid.
PUNJAB EAST
Meeting of State Executive Committee was
held on 09.01.2011 in Shastri Model School, Mohali
in which 42 members participated. The General
Secretary Shri S.C. Galhotra presented the State
achievements and congratulated the members for
their whole hearted support as a result of which our
Prant was honoured at Agra in National Council
Conference being No.1 The meeting was graced
by the presence of National Secretary General Shri
S.K. Wadhwa who appreciated the prant and its
achievemente. He gave many tips for success.
Members had a lively discussion with him.
Malerkotla : Branch celebrated the Shaheedi
Divas of Shaheed-e-Aazam Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru
and Sukhdev on 23rd March 2011 at the Jail
premises of Malerkotla. Shri Vikramjeet Pandhy
D.S.P. (Jail) was the Chief Guest. Shri Vikramjeet
Pandhy delivered lecture on the life of Shaheed
Bhagat Singh and other Martyrs. Members of BVP
also highlighted the Shahadat of these Martyrs.
Chandigarh South : Branch celebrated
Basant and Parivar Milan on 13.02.2011 in Sood
Bhawan, Sector-44, Chandigarh. 50 families of all
four branches of the district participated. Prof. S.D.
Pabbi told the gathering about the importance of
Basant.
GUJARAT NORTH
Prant held a general meeting in the Garden
Hotel Patan on 27.02.2011. President, Secretary
Treasurer, Mahila Sanyojika & all programme
sanyojak of all branches participated. President
Satishbhai Thakkar announced the names of
President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer &
all Programme Prakalp sanyojak of the prant for
the year 2011-12. New President Dr. Ajaybhai Joshi
delivered his welcome speech regarding the
consitution of BVP in detail & explained the
importance of sanskar & Seva programmes. New
office bearers are President Dr. Ajaybhai Joshi,
Secretary Bharathbai Thakkar, Vice President
Ashwinbhai Parek, Dr. Ameetbhai Akhani,
Bharatbhai Modi, treasurer Rupeshbhai Jain.
MAHARASHTRA
Filmcity, Mumbai Malad East : Branch
launched exclusive website of Filmcity branch on
the eve of new year. The site contains past and
future projects of the branch with Photo Gallary.
Besides details about members, it also has
clippings of news published in newspapers and our

ASSAM
Karimganj : Branch organized pure drinking
water project on 4th February, 2011 and distributed
pure drinking water to the devotees who participated
in the procession on the occasion of opening
ceremony of newly constructed Shri
Radha Mohan Temple. More than 5000 devotees
were provided with pure drinking water.
Donated one steel bookcase and books to
Karimganj Law College on 16.03.2011. The
same was handed over to Md. Abdul Basit
Choudhury, Principal in the presence of large
number of members, where some members
spoke on the occasion and praised the activites
of BVP. Entire project was initiated and
sponsored by our Ex. President Shri Mrinal
Kanti Dutta in memory of his beloved father late
Shailendra Shekhar Dutta.
