Club Information 10 December was a busy month with the Club’s boat parade. One of our two formal balls was in early December with 176 Corinthians and guests dancing to the music of Street Talk. We were saddened by the passing of one of our Past Commodores, Ted Scantlebury. Ted was one of the original Blue Angels and was very active in the Corinthians. We had a memorial service and burial at sea. January has us cruising to Miami’s Bayside Marina. This is a popular trip with the ladies due to the nearby Bayside Market Place. A trip to Jungle Island is also planned. Later in January we participate in the Pompano Nautical Flea Market. February brings the first of our three quarterly membership meetings. Following the business meeting there will be dinner & dancing. The theme of this program is an Evening of Las Vegas Entertainment featuring the Sounds of Sinatra. On February 27 through March 1 we plan to visit the Delray Beach Yacht Club. As you can see we have an active agenda. NO tank tops or sleeveless shirts, please. Ladies are allowed to wear casual dresses, slacks, capris and blouses. Holidays: Jackets are requested for all gentlemen. Long pants with a collared shirt are acceptable. Lounge: Casual attire is allowed. NO swimwear or baseball caps, please. When wearing tennis clothing, please cover your chair with a towel. Club Members are asked to please inform your guests of these current Club policies. Thank you! Hello Boaters! Hello Boaters and Happy New Year! Let’s hope that this year is better than the last! Fuel prices are down and the fishing has been great! Looks like we are off to a good start! Thanks to all who participated in the Holiday Boat Parade. It was a blast!
