INFORMATION TO SHAREHOLDERS & INVESTORS 1 STOCK EXCHANGE LISTING Lion Brewery (Ceylon) PLC, is a Public Quoted Company, the issued ordinary shares of which are listed with the Colombo Stock Exchange of Sri Lanka. 2 SHARE VALUATION The market price of the Company's share as at 31st March 2010 was Rs.86.50 per share ( 2009 - Rs.55.00). Redemption of these shares is to be made after 31st March 2010. Ordinary The board of Directors has recommended the payment of a first and final dividend of Rs.3/- per share for the year ended 31st March 2010 ( 2009 - Nil) which is to be approved at the Annual General Meeting to be held on 11th of June 2010. 8 NUMBER 0F EMPLOYEES There were 195 (2009 -193) employees as at the Balance Sheet date. 56
