9 A. Gosh I wouldn't be able to remember that. Usually around three, four, 500.

14 A. If I had time to go back and look at them. I didn't think like that to be

15 quite honest with you, and it wasn't important to me that I should get
16 political donations from people. It was important that I get enough money to
17 run my campaign but that's the whole -- that's where I come from.

19 CHAIRMAN: But presumably like most councillors you'd have only got possibly a

24 A. Well I had at that time I -- it was a snap election. And I was busy, I was

25 sort of having wine and cheese get togethers and people were rounding up some
26 money for me. Whatever way I could try and track down some political
27 donations I was anxious. But I know I didn't solicit money from anybody
28 because I didn't have the time to think about it.
