Computer Aided Manufacturing.<br />
camera<br />
An object having position, orientation, and optical<br />
properties that is used to view a scene or render an image<br />
from.<br />
CATIA<br />
Computer-aided design software from Dassault Systemes<br />
in France.<br />
canvas plane<br />
A two-dimensional rectangular object used for drawing<br />
and sketching in StudioTools (on Windows operating<br />
systems only).<br />
channel<br />
A set of data that describes what values its animation<br />
parameter should assume at different frame times.<br />
checkpoint<br />
A manually or automatically saved wire file of the current<br />
scene that allows you to re-load a model at various stages<br />
of its construction.<br />
chord-length<br />
Type of parameterization. Assigns parameter 0.0 to the<br />
start of the curve, then increases the parameter value<br />
proportionally to the chord length, or the shortest linear<br />
distance, between the surrounding edit points. Constrast<br />
uniform.<br />
chrome texture<br />
The Chrome texture simulates a showroom environment.<br />
The texture consists of a ground plane and a sky plane<br />
(with fluorescent style light rectangles), and provides a<br />
simple but effective environment to simulate reflections<br />
off chrome surfaces.<br />
