Anthony Molinari ’78 is a director for ADT. He lives in Merrick, NY with his wife Dawn and their four children Anna, Anthony, Alexandra and Andrew. Philip DiPippo ’80 won the SCCA National race at Lime Rock Park, CT this month in his C6T1 Corvette, putting him in 1st place in the northeast division. That division is considered the toughest in the country. Thomas Ehrhardt ’80 became engaged this past June to Ashling Lyons. The wedding will take place on December 20, 2008. Daniel P. Deegan ’83 has merged his law firm of Crowe & Deegan, LLP and formed a new law firm now known as Forchelli, Curto, Crowe, Deegan, Schwartz, Mineo & Cohn, LLP as of June 1, 2008. Guy Irace ’83 has joined the faculty at Kellenberg Memorial HS in the mathematics department. He will also be working towards his masters in education this fall. Thomas Smith ’83 has been named Associate Dean of Humanities in the College of Arts and Sciences at Villanova University. He lives in Media, PA with his wife and three children. William Flannery ’84 is enjoying the southern life in North Carolina. He is the proud father of four children. His medical practice is in Huntersville, NC where he is the chief of pediatrics at the local hospital. Bill practices both pediatrics and internal medicine and thoroughly enjoys it. Andrew Kenny Jr. ’84 completed his final flight and retired from the US Navy on July 25, 2008. He is currently employed as a corporate pilot for Fidelity National Financial based in Jacksonville, FL. Christopher Polimeni ’84 has been promoted to senior vice-president for finance and treasurer of American Media, Inc. in Boca Raton, FL. American Media, Inc. (AMI) is the leading publishing company in the celebrity journalism and health and fitness categories. Joseph Impellizeri ’86 opened Veterinary Specialty Center of the Hudson Valley, a multi-specialty veterinary center with CT/MRI/Ultrasound/Digital Radiology and a minimally invasive surgical suite. Leonard J. Infranca ’86 graduated from The Catholic University in 1990 with a Bachelors in Architecture and graduated from TheCatholic University in 1991 with a BS architecture. He is working as a project manager for Minno & Wasko Architecture in Lamberstville, PA and lives in Plainsboro, NJ with his wife Amy. Kenneth Coles ’87 works at Smith Barney as a financial advisor at the Citi Bank branch in New Hyde Park, NY. This past summer Brendan O’Brien ’06 was an intern in his office. Robert Fitton ’88 is employed as director of technical operations at Motorola. He lives in Miller Place, NY with his wife and children Robert and Mary. Francesco Lupis ’89 joined Midwest Community Health Associates. He and his wife Barbara, along with their two children Vincenzo and Matthew, reside in Bryan, OH. Matthew Travaglia ’89 resides in Old Brookville, NY with his wife Luisa and their four children Isabella, Matthew, Giacomo and Olivia. He is a captain with the NYPD assigned as the executive officer of the 113 Precinct in Jamaica, NY and is also an Of Counsel attorney in the law firm of Agruso & Trovato, LLP. John Zoll ’89 has relocated with his family to San Antonio, TX. He is a major in the US Army and is an instructor for the Army Medical Department. He has been selected for an army funded Homeland Security graduate program starting in 2009. He welcomes all Chaminade friends visiting San Antonio. Fr. Afterwards participants enjoyed a luncheon at Champps Restaurant in Arlington, VA. Stephen Gecewicz ’90 completed his Ph.D. in Education at St. John’s University in 2002. He is now the assistant principal at Brooklyn Collegiate High School, a College Board school. Kevin Ecker ’91 accepted a position as senior intellectual property consel with Philips a worldwide leader in the healthcare, lighting and consumer products markets. He handles patent, trademark and copyright litigation, prosecution and licensing. Kevin, his wife and their two daughters live in Rockville, Centre NY. James McCloskey ’91 was just promoted to senior premier client representative at Putnam Investments. He works one on one with top producing financial advisors. Additionally, he keeps busy playing music, exercising and has finished writing an action novel. Joseph Ryan ’92 received his Ph.D. in industrial and organizational psychology from Hofstra University in May, 2008. K. Scott Botensten ’93 works at Deutsche Bank as a vice-president in the global banking department. He was recently married to Jayna Mailloux in Newport, RI. Louis J. Bottari ’93 lives in Winchester, MA with wife Shannon and sons Louis and Rocco. He is president and CEO of Mid-Island Mortgage Corporation. The company is celebrating its 50th year in business and has nine offices throughout the northeast. Todd Francone ’93 graduated from Cornell Medical Center General Surgery Residency which included five years of clinical responsibilities and a two-year clinical research fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NYC in colorectal oncology. He will he completing his training in colorectal surgery at The Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA for one year. James Murphy ’93 graduated from George Washington University Law School May, 2007 first in his class. Ryan Patrick Kelly ’94 graduated from Hofstra Law School in 2001and is an assoicate in the law firm of Cullen and Dykemam. He and his wife MaryAnn are the parents of Brigit and Sile.
1995 - 1999 Stephen Conroy ’95 was promoted to general manager at Morton’s Steakhouse in Arlington, VA. He passed the introductory level of the Court of Master Sommeliers. John J. Infranca ’95 graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1999 with a BA in liberal studies and an MA in Moral Theology in 2005. John graduated from NYU School of Law in 2008. He is now clerking in Philadelphia, PA for Judge Berle Schiller of the Eastern District of PA Federal District Court. Shawn Daley ’96 teaches social studies and English at Gresham High School in Gresham, OR. His teaching style recently earned him a $2000 national award from the ING Financial Services Unsung He- roes program, which recognizes innovative teachers in the United States. The award will be used to fund Shawn’s class projects. Shawn lives in Portland, OR. Christopher Lawson ’96 completed his residency in internal medicine at Tufts Medical Center. He will begin his fellowship in cardiology at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Brighton, MA in July. Gavin J. Wilk ’96 has been accepted into the history Ph.D. program at the University of Limerick in Ireland. He received the prestigious Irish Research Council for Humanities and Social Sciences postgraduate scholarship, which will fully fund his doctoral research topic on Irish republican activism in the US from 1922 to 1939. After returning from an overseas travel and work experience in Australia two years ago, he worked as a consultant in the asset management division at Bear Stearns & Co., Inc. in NY and and has participated in a variety of historical freelance writing projects. Michael Cleary ’97 and his wife Kathryn live in North Carolina with their one year old daughter Maggie. Daniel F. Fallon ’98 is working at the University of Idaho in the Foundation Department. James D. Grant ’97 is a lieutenant in the US Navy. Louis Zameryka ’98 was recently appointed the senior account manager at Booking.com, Europe ’s largest online hotel provider and international arm of Priceline.com. He oversees hotel supply for much of the Eastern US. Louis was also elected to serve a two- year term on the board of the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International ’s Greater NY Chapter as director of communications. Scott Howard ’99 graduated with a Ph.D. from Princeton University in electrical engineering. He is a post doctoral research associate at Cornell University, developing advanced fiber based medical imaging technologies and the co-founder and managing partner of Primis Technologies, LLC. Peter W. Lorusso ’99 is married to Lauren Rae Schmidt of Midlothian, VA. He is living in London, England working for an overseas shipholding group as a ship charterer. Daniel Parente ’99 was promoted to assistant vice-president in M&T Bank’s Structured Real Estate Finance Division. He graduated with honors from New York University with a masters degree in real estate. Dinner Honoring Coach Bill Carriero ’69 As was announced in the July issue of the CHAMINADE NEWS, Chaminade’s track coach Bill Carriero ’69 will be inducted into the Armory Track and Field Foundation’s Hall of Fame at a dinner at the armory on February 24, 2009. Since he is only the third high school coach to receive this distinction in the one hundred-year history of the foundation, this is a great honor both for Bill and for Chaminade. Christopher Tully ’01 graduated from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC with a B.A. in theology and religious studies with a minor in Spanish philosophy and English in 2006. He spent five years in Washington. Stephen Alicanti ’02 passed the C.P.A. exam and works for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He is attending Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, GA, pursuing his J.D./M.B.A. degrees. James Minogue ’02 graduated cum laude from The College of the Holy Cross in 2006. He began studies at Wake Forest School of Law in the fall of 2008. Christopher Norwood ’03 was recently on tour with a musical production of Anne of Green Gables throughout the northeast, south and midwest. He is now a member of the Actors Equity Association. Nelson Santos ’03 is a social studies teacher in the Uniondale School District. John Schneider ’03 is attending the University Wisconsin-Madison for a masters in structural geology. Michael Colin Verbesey ’03 graduated from the College of William and Mary with a B.A. in English and education. He is now entering his second year as a seventh grade English teacher at Frost Middle School in Fairfax, VA. Rhys Broussard ’04 graduated from NYU in 2007 after three years.
