1995 - 1999<br />

Stephen Conroy ’95 was promoted to general<br />

manager at Morton’s Steakhouse in Arlington, VA.<br />

He passed the introductory level of the Court of<br />

Master Sommeliers.<br />

John J. Infranca ’95 graduated from the University<br />

of Notre Dame in 1999 with a BA in liberal<br />

studies <strong>and</strong> an MA in Moral Theology in 2005. John<br />

graduated from NYU <strong>School</strong> of Law in 2008. He<br />

is now clerking in Philadelphia, PA for Judge Berle<br />

Schiller of the Eastern District of PA Federal District<br />

Court.<br />

Shawn Daley ’96 teaches social studies <strong>and</strong> English<br />

at Gresham <strong>High</strong> <strong>School</strong> in Gresham, OR. His<br />

teaching style recently earned him a $2000 national<br />

award from the ING Financial Services Unsung He-<br />

roes program, which recognizes innovative teachers<br />

in the United States. The award will be used to fund<br />

Shawn’s class projects. Shawn lives in Portl<strong>and</strong>, OR.<br />

Christopher Lawson ’96 completed his residency<br />

in internal medicine at Tufts Medical Center. He<br />

will begin his fellowship in cardiology at St. Elizabeth<br />

Hospital in Brighton, MA in July.<br />

Gavin J. Wilk ’96 has been accepted into the<br />

history Ph.D. program at the University of Limerick<br />

in Irel<strong>and</strong>. He received the prestigious Irish Research<br />

Council for Humanities <strong>and</strong> Social Sciences postgraduate<br />

scholarship, which will fully fund his doctoral<br />

research topic on Irish republican activism in the US<br />

from 1922 to 1939. After returning from an overseas<br />

travel <strong>and</strong> work experience in Australia two years ago,<br />

he worked as a consultant in the asset management<br />

division at Bear Stearns & Co., Inc. in NY <strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong><br />

has participated in a variety of historical freelance<br />

writing projects.<br />

Michael Cleary ’97 <strong>and</strong> his wife Kathryn live<br />

in North Carolina with their one year old daughter<br />

Maggie.<br />

Daniel F. Fallon ’98 is working at the University<br />

of Idaho in the Foundation Department.<br />

James D. Grant ’97 is a lieutenant in the US<br />

Navy.<br />

Louis Zameryka ’98 was recently appointed the<br />

senior account manager at Booking.com, Europe ’s<br />

largest online hotel provider <strong>and</strong> international arm<br />

of Priceline.com. He oversees hotel supply for much<br />

of the Eastern US. Louis was also elected to serve a<br />

two- year term on the board of the Hospitality Sales<br />

<strong>and</strong> Marketing Association International ’s Greater<br />

NY Chapter as director of communications.<br />

Scott Howard ’99 graduated with a Ph.D. from<br />

Princeton University in electrical engineering. He is a<br />

post doctoral research associate at Cornell University,<br />

developing advanced fiber based medical imaging<br />

technologies <strong>and</strong> the co-founder <strong>and</strong> managing partner<br />

of Primis Technologies, LLC.<br />

Peter W. Lorusso ’99 is married to Lauren Rae<br />

Schmidt of Midlothian, VA. He is living in London,<br />

Engl<strong>and</strong> working for an overseas shipholding group<br />

as a ship charterer.<br />

Daniel Parente ’99 was promoted to assistant<br />

vice-president in M&T Bank’s Structured Real Estate<br />

Finance Division. He graduated with honors from<br />

New York University with a masters degree in real<br />

estate.<br />

Dinner Honoring Coach Bill Carriero ’69<br />

As was announced in the July issue of the CHAMINADE NEWS,<br />

<strong>Chaminade</strong>’s track coach Bill Carriero ’69 will be inducted into the Armory<br />

Track <strong>and</strong> Field Foundation’s Hall of Fame at a dinner at the armory on<br />

February 24, 2009. Details of the event as well as registration <strong>and</strong> donation<br />

Since he is only the third high school coach to receive this distinction in the<br />

one hundred-year history of the foundation, this is a great honor both for Bill<br />

<strong>and</strong> for <strong>Chaminade</strong>. All are invited to attend.<br />

has been appointed an assistant district attorney in<br />

Nassau County.<br />

Daniel Conway ’00 has begun his residency in<br />

emergency medicine at Brooke Army Medical Center<br />

in San Antonio, TX <strong>and</strong> is engaged to Marry Blythe<br />

Wyatt.<br />

Christopher Tully ’01 graduated from The<br />

Catholic University of America in Washington, DC<br />

with a B.A. in theology <strong>and</strong> religious studies with a<br />

minor in Spanish philosophy <strong>and</strong> English in 2006.<br />

He spent five years in Washington.<br />

Stephen Alicanti ’02 passed the C.P.A. exam<br />

<strong>and</strong> works for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He is attending<br />

Emory University <strong>School</strong> of Law in Atlanta,<br />

GA, pursuing his J.D./M.B.A. degrees.<br />

James Minogue ’02 graduated cum laude from<br />

The College of the Holy Cross in 2006. He began<br />

studies at Wake Forest <strong>School</strong> of Law in the fall of<br />

2008.<br />

Christopher Norwood ’03 was recently on tour<br />

with a musical production of Anne of Green Gables<br />

throughout the northeast, south <strong>and</strong> midwest. He is<br />

now a member of the Actors Equity Association.<br />

Nelson Santos ’03 is a social studies teacher in<br />

the Uniondale <strong>School</strong> District.<br />

John Schneider ’03 is attending the University<br />

Wisconsin-Madison for a masters in structural geology.<br />

Michael Colin Verbesey ’03 graduated from the<br />

College of William <strong>and</strong> Mary with a B.A. in English<br />

<strong>and</strong> education. He is now entering his second year<br />

as a seventh grade English teacher at Frost Middle<br />

<strong>School</strong> in Fairfax, VA.<br />

Rhys Broussard ’04 graduated from NYU in<br />

2007 after three years. He is now in his second year<br />

at NYU Law <strong>School</strong>.<br />

Thomas Salogub ’04 has graduated with honors<br />
