Guillaume Alinier<br />

Physicist by training Guillaume developed an<br />
interest in biomedical engineering that led him to<br />
the world <strong>of</strong> medical simulation where he works<br />
on different committees at national and<br />
international levels. He received several awards<br />
for his work in realistic scenario-based simulation<br />
training in healthcare education and has been<br />
instrumental to the recent development <strong>of</strong> the<br />
new HICESC (<strong>Hertfordshire</strong> Intensive Care<br />
Emergency Simulation Centre) at the <strong>University</strong><br />
<strong>of</strong> <strong>Hertfordshire</strong> which is one <strong>of</strong> the largest European<br />
multi-pr<strong>of</strong>essional simulation centres.<br />

Dr. Indra Jones, a former <strong>University</strong> Teaching<br />
Fellow and Assistant Director <strong>of</strong> Learning and<br />
Teaching is currently a fellow <strong>of</strong> the Higher<br />
Education Academy and National Teaching<br />
Fellow. Indra's expertise spans over 15 years <strong>of</strong><br />
teaching, researching and developing Reflective<br />
Practice in health care and postgraduate<br />
education curricula supported by a number <strong>of</strong><br />
national and international publications.<br />
Lisa Lione<br />

Lisa Lione is a Senior Lecturer in pharmacology<br />
within the School <strong>of</strong> Life Sciences at the<br />
<strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hertfordshire</strong>. This is her first year<br />
at the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Hertfordshire</strong> and her first<br />
lecturing post. Following her PhD in<br />
neuroscience at the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> Bristol in 1997,<br />
Lisa has worked in drug discovery research in<br />
biotechnical and pharmaceutical industries, with<br />
particular focus on neurodegeneration and pain.<br />
