Offered by Ard Ridge Cattle Company, Nancy, KY
This powerful bred heifer and donor prospect stems from another Midland x Queen. Her
dam was selected from the first J&J Cattle Co. Sale by the legendary Bill Couch and now serves
as a donor in the Ard Ridge and Graham programs in Kentucky and Tennessee.
There is a world of phenotype bred in this female on both sides of her pedigree, and the calf
she is carrying by Northern Improvement should be a great one. Her grandam, J&J Queenie
9206, was the foundation of the J&J herd. The Queen Family accounted for more than $68,000
of the sale gross in the May 2010 J&J Dispersion and included the $22,750 J&J Queen 414,
J&J Queen 9064, who sold for $11,250, and J&J Queen 9044, who sold for $11,500 to Fred
Shultz of Oklahoma, to name a few.
• Bred A.I. 5/14/12 to Northern Improvement 4480 GF. Safe in calf.
• Selling 1/2 interest with the option to double the purchase price for full interest
and full possession.
Wow—a curve bender with extreme eye appeal! This daughter of the extremely popular Connealy
Consensus 7229 is really fancy, long necked, square hipped and super sound with the
rib and volume needed to make a tremendous brood cow. 003Z blends the performance and
carcass genetics of Consensus with the incredible phenotype of the Queenie cow family from
Mark Johnson. She ranks in the top 10% of non-parent Angus females for CED, WW, YW, CW,
$Wean and $Beef. What more could you ask for in a young female? 003Z has it all!
Weaning ratio 106.
• Sells open.
