This impressive February prospect is the result of a split embryo that resulted in twin heifers.
Her dam, Empress 5179, was selected to join the donor herd at Pollard Farms as the $11,000
top selling two year old in Oklahoma State University’s 2007 Cowboy Classic. In the 1990s, the
famous grandam of 5179, DF Empress 6079, gained national recognition as a result of producing
several sons which would become grand champions in the show ring. 6079 was the
Angus Roll of Victory Embryo Transplant Dam of the Year in 1994. Her sons include OSU Precision,
Grand Champion Bull at the All-American Angus Breeders’ Futurity and Reserve Champion
at the North American in 1993; OSU Ultra, Reserve Champion Angus Bull at Denver in
1994 before being named Grand Champion at the National Western in 1995; and OSU Panama,
Grand Champion Bull at the 1996 All-American Angus Breeders’ Futurity and Tulsa State Fair;
and the Grand Champion Bull at the 1997 Western National Futurity in Reno, Nevada. Empress
was the first female to ever produce all of the "Best Six Head" at the North American, in 1993,
and all three bulls in the Champion "Pen of Three" at the 1994 National Western Angus Show.
In 1997, OSU exhibited the Champion Pen of Three Angus Bulls at the National Western, which
included one direct son of 6079 and one grandson. The lead bull in the 2009 Reserve Champion
Pen of Three Bulls at the National Western, OSU Currency 8173, also descends from this
famous matron. To this day, some of the most productive, highest income producing females
in the OSU purebred herd are 6079 daughters and granddaughters.

This February daughter of Bismarck is one of the top cow prospects in the offering. Lucy 2184
combines rib, volume and soundness with EPDs that rank in the top 20% or higher among
her breed contemporaries for BW, WW, YW, CEM, Milk, $W and $F while maintaining positive
Marbling and Ribeye EPDs. 2184 was on the side of her dam when they topped the LaGrand
dispersion at $18,000 in April 2012. The impressive progeny ratios of her dam, BW 3@95,
WW 3@108, YW 3@109, %IMF 2@112, and RE 2@93, are further evidence of her brood cow
