Here is an opportunity to acquire offspring from one of the more unique Angus females to hit the tanbark
this year. Missie 70Y was selected out of the Tree Lane Farms Production Sale last fall and continues to
impress the older she gets. Missie 70Y packs extra power, bone and dimension into a sound, attractive
package. Her sire, Duff Hobart, has one of the more impressive sire groups that we have seen all fall in
Angus, SimAngus and club calf herds. This is your opportunity to create the next breed changer within your
respective breed. Missie was selected Grand Champion Female at the very prestigious 2012 Iowa State Fair.
Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to flush this up-and-coming donor with unlimited potential.
Missie is due to calve 2/23/13 and will be ready to flush in April.
The dam of Missie 70Y, Missie 8038, is a maternal sister to the most proven and productive Pathfinder
Dam ever at Weaver Angus Farm, WAF Rally Missie 554. This foundation of the WAF Missie family produced
the 1997 Indiana Preview Show Grand Champion, WAF Missie 7076, selected by the Patton and Turner families
from the 1997 sale at Weaver Angus Farm, and her next two natural calves were consecutive Winter
Heifer Calf Champions at the National Western Stock Show. WAF Missie 8032, the daughter of this female
selected by Mercedes Danekas from the 1998 sale at Weaver Angus Farm, was the popular 1999 National
Western Winter Heifer Calf Champion who went on to be a many-time junior show champion as a junior
yearling, returning to the 2000 California State Fair with her first calf at side to reign as the Grand Champion
Female. WAF Missie 9057, a natural daughter of this great female, was also selected by Mercedes
Danekas as the $22,000 top-selling female of the 1999 sale at Weaver Angus Farm and began her show
career as the Junior Heifer Calf Champion of the National Angus Show at the 1999 American Royal, going
on to reign as the second consecutive Winter Heifer Calf Champion of the National Western Stock Show
from the foundation WAF Missie female; and a powerful junior yearling was the Grand Champion Owned
Heifer of the 2000 Western Regional Junior Show, the Grand Champion Heifer of the 2000 Atlantic National
ROV Show and the Junior Heifer Calf and Reserve Grand Champion of the 2000 Dixie National ROV. Descending
from a Pathfinder Dam who carries on one of the top cow families developed at Rally Farms in
New York, this proven producer has generated more than $20,000 in embryo sales as a featured Weaver
Angus Farm donor after generating $41,500 from the sale of her first three natural daughters to make her
one of the all-time high income-producing cows in the illustrious 65-year history of Weaver Angus Farm.
• Terms of Flush: The flush will be conducted at Donor Solutions, Rensselaer, IN. Seller
guarantees a minimum of eight grade one embryos to result; the buyer will receive up to
ten at the price bid. The buyer and seller will split all resulting embryos above ten, with
the seller receiving the odd numbered embryos and the buyer receiving the even numbered
embryos. Semen and flush costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
