For students registering after the regular official due date, a $60.00 late registration fee is assessed. No exceptions.<br />
Mandatory fees are not usually paid by third party agencies and are the responsibility of the student.<br />
Domestic students pay health insurance Fall, Spring, and Summer. If students enter for the first time during the summer semester, the<br />
insurance is prorated and manually entered to the student account.<br />
Books And Supplies<br />
Textbooks may be purchased from the Bookstore located in the Ralph H. Lee Student Center. The estimated cost is $900.00 per<br />
semester. The Bookstore accepts the following methods of payment: cash, money order, cashier’s check, traveler’s check, MasterCard,<br />
VISA, American Express and Discover Credit Cards. For further information, contact the Bookstore, (256) 372-5626.<br />
Remittance<br />
All remittances, if not made in person at the Bursar’s Office, should be made payable to <strong>Alabama</strong> A&M <strong>University</strong> and mailed to:<br />

Bills may be paid in the Cashier’s Department located in Room 105-A Patton Building between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday<br />
through Friday. The Bursar’s Office is closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays.<br />
A valid student identification card must be presented when transacting official business with the Cashier’s Department. The <strong>University</strong><br />
accepts the following methods of payment: cash, money order, traveler’s check, cashier’s check, certified check, and VISA and<br />
MasterCard Credit Cards. Additionally, VISA and MasterCard Credit Cards are accepted by telephone.<br />
When paying by MasterCard or VISA Credit Card, the student must have approved permission by issued credit card holder. The<br />
<strong>University</strong> reserves the right to contact any cardholder.<br />
No portion of a check or money order made payable to AAMU will be given as change to a student, except in cases where a written<br />
request from the parent accompanies the payment. The <strong>University</strong> does not cash personal checks, certified checks, traveler’s checks,<br />
money orders or cashier’s checks. Monies for books and other personal items should be provided to the student via money order,<br />
cashier’s check, or certified check.<br />
Students are expected to meet all financial obligations by the specified due date. The <strong>University</strong> reserves the right to deny admission<br />
and to withhold transcripts of any students who fail to meet promptly his/her financial obligations to the <strong>University</strong>. It is each<br />
student’s responsibility to be informed of all registration and fee payment dates, deadlines, and other requirements.<br />
Restrictions Due To Indebtedness To The <strong>University</strong><br />
No student will be permitted to register for a semester until all bills from the previous semester have been paid. Failure to meet<br />
financial obligations, as scheduled, will cause a forfeiture of privileges of the dining facilities, residence halls, classroom facilities and<br />
other activities.<br />
No transcript or record will be issued for any student who is indebted to the <strong>University</strong>. This includes, but is not restricted to, a<br />
delinquent Carl D. Perkins Loan.
