Candlelight Concert will be<br />

at 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Tickets to<br />

the Christmas Concert make wonderful<br />

holi<strong>day</strong> gifts to your friends and neighbors.<br />

Ticket sales this week are at the<br />

the following times: Sun<strong>day</strong> from 10:00<br />

a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; Mon<strong>day</strong>–Thurs<strong>day</strong><br />

from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Fri<strong>day</strong><br />

from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.<br />

now have the opportunity to make your<br />

charitable donations on-line through<br />

A new LLUC Family Nature Series<br />

begins to<strong>day</strong>, December 8. Planned<br />

by parents and nature experts, past<br />

series have been popular. Mark the<br />

third weekend <strong>of</strong> each month on your<br />

2008 calendar for close encounters with<br />

grunion, whales, wilderness, stars, and<br />

other nature delights. The programs are<br />

chosen to interest people <strong>of</strong> all ages.<br />

LLUC Family Nature Series presents<br />

a guided tour <strong>of</strong> The World Museum<br />

<strong>of</strong> Natural History at La Sierra<br />

<strong>University</strong> to<strong>day</strong>, December 8, from<br />

1:00 to 5:00 p.m. See the world’s largest<br />

Komodo Dragon, birds, mammals,<br />

Native American artifacts, fossils, gemstones<br />

and rocks that glow. The Stahl<br />

Center Museum <strong>of</strong> Culture will also be<br />

open. The museum is in Cossentine<br />

Home Communion: If you are a<br />

homebound church member who is<br />

unable to attend church due to health<br />

reasons and would personally desire<br />

receiving communion in your home at<br />

the time <strong>of</strong> the quarterly communion<br />

service, call Pastor Marvin Ponder<br />

at the church <strong>of</strong>fice, (909) 558-4570,<br />

x47081 or x47095.<br />

The Intercessory Prayer Group will<br />

not meet until after Winter Wednes<strong>day</strong>s<br />

are finished in February, 2008.<br />

EXCELL- We are <strong>of</strong>f to a great start<br />

this year! We have started some new<br />

tutoring sites and added new <strong>day</strong>s<br />

to others, but we still need mentors<br />

and other support people to meet the<br />

needs <strong>of</strong> at-risk youth in our area.<br />

Come join the fun and volunteer an<br />

hour and a half <strong>of</strong> your time each week<br />

to make a difference in a young life.<br />

The Open Prayer Circle: Weldon<br />

Mattison, a 40-year missionary to<br />

India, will speak on The Power <strong>of</strong><br />

the Resurrection. This prayer circle<br />

is open to all who wish to come for<br />

songs, inspiration, and prayers from<br />

6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in Room 130.<br />
