This Sunday we celebrate World
Day for Consecrated Life. We
recognize and give thanks for those
who have consecrated their lives to
God and the Church through the
vows of poverty, chastity, and
obedience. The consecrated life is
one way that women and men live out their baptismal
commitment as followers of Jesus. We are especially
grateful for Father Joe and Father McDonough. God
bless our priests!
TO KNEEL OR SIT…
After the distribution of Holy Communion and the
tabernacle is closed, you may continue kneeling or you
may be seated to continue to pray as Father goes to
purify the vessels.
PRAYER FOR OUR ELECTION
For God’s guidance in our upcoming election, please
recite the following prayer daily:
O God, we consecrate the 2012 presidential election
of the United States of America to the Sacred Heart of
Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, our
loving Mother, patroness and protectress of our country.
SEEDS OF LITERACY
Seeds of Literacy is the only adult literacy provider in
Cuyahoga County. They are a nonprofit organization
providing basic education and GED preparation to
adults free of charge. They are in urgent need of tutors.
They are offering upcoming Tutor Training sessions on
Saturday, February 25, and March 24 from 9 am to 2 pm
at the Seeds Resource Center, Cleveland. For more
