Description: This website was founded by Lady Gaga and her mother Cynthia Germanotta in
order “to foster a more accepting society, where differences are embraced and individuality is
celebrated.”
The goals described include creating a safe and useful place to celebrate individuality, teaching
advocacy and identifying ways to implement solutions to impact local communities. Teachers
can use the Stories of Bravery to inspire students’ responses in writing or podcasts and adapt
them for the elementary population. Students of middle and high school can share their ideas
for actions and activities to impact their community.
