Silent witness: Bullying
Nearly 30 percent of teenagers are bullies or victims of bullying, and 88 percent of
teenagers are bystanders who do not interfere. Several strides are being made in school
districts across the country to encourage bystanders to stick up for people being bullied and
report the bullying to an administrator.
