To enhance your enjoyment of Toronto, the <strong>IADR</strong> has arranged<br />

with the Welcome To The City, Inc. tour company to offer you<br />

private customized activities. To provide the best possible<br />

service, a Welcome To The City, Inc. Tour Reservation Desk will be<br />

located in the <strong>IADR</strong> registration area at the Convention Centre.<br />

This desk will handle inquiries regarding any of the pre-arranged<br />

activities outlined below. In addition, information can be obtained<br />

for additional excursions, attractions, restaurant reservations,<br />

theatre tickets and shopping suggestions. Tickets for the tours<br />

and activities outlined below may be available at the Tour<br />

Registration Desk during the meeting; however, space is limited,<br />

and advance registration is advised.<br />

No reservations will be taken by phone. Tickets will be held in<br />

your name at the Welcome To The City, Inc. Tour Registration Desk.<br />

All tours will depart from and return to the main entrance of the<br />

Convention Centre (South Building). Refunds are available until<br />

June 4 th , 2008, only. Welcome To The City, Inc. reserves the right to<br />

cancel tours if the minimum number of registrants is not met;<br />

registrants will then receive a full refund. Cancelled checks or<br />

credit card charges are considered confirmation for the tours.<br />

Exploring Toronto – By Land and By Sea<br />

Price: CDN $50.88 per person<br />

Historic Homes – Past to Present<br />

Our Historic tour begins at Spadina, a homestead that has perched high above this<br />

city for over 170 years. You’ll enjoy the grand tour of this authentically decorated<br />

house, each room representative of a different era. We will then leave Spadina and<br />

walk across the street to Casa Loma, the majestic 98-room castle overlooking<br />

Toronto. During this self-guided tour (you will be provided a Sony Walkman), you’ll<br />

explore the rooms, the secret passages, and the towers at your own pace. We’ll<br />

then leave the castle and board the coach for a leisurely drive through Forest<br />

Hill, arguably one of Toronto’s most prestigious neighborhoods. Now it is time<br />

to explore Yorkville, Toronto’s most exclusive shopping district. Countless art<br />

galleries and antique shops nestle up right next to delectable cafés and bistros.<br />

You never know what, or whom, you may encounter in vibrant Yorkville. You will<br />

be free to enjoy lunch on your own in this exciting neighborhood, reminiscent<br />
