ment is employed by the signal group commander<br />
to direct and coordinate the operation, training,<br />
administration, and logistics functions of the<br />
group headquarters and for assigned and at-<br />
tached units. The group headquarters includes<br />
the commander and his staff. The commander employs<br />
his staff to establish and monitor the per-<br />
sonnel, administrative, and logistics functions of<br />
the group and to maintain technical and/or opera-<br />
independent corps or similar size task force; a<br />
signal service group; or a signal construction<br />
group if all battalions in the group happened to<br />
be signal construction battalions. The signal<br />
group designation would thus depend on the mission<br />
and the type signal battalions assigned to the<br />
group to perform that mission. The HHD simply<br />
provides the command and control to insure that<br />
the group's overall mission is accomplished.<br />
