Junior <strong>School</strong><br />
ART DAY FOR YEAR 4 who sketched and painted in the Australian Impressionistic style<br />
Years 3-6 Sport<br />
TENNIS<br />
The first four weeks of Term 2 saw Year 3 and 4 students participate in tennis lessons provided<br />
by the Tennis Blast Academy. These lessons were very popular with all students and a<br />
a high level of enthusiasm was displayed by both the coaches and the students.<br />
Overall the tennis lessons were very successful.<br />
CIS Representatives<br />
Congratulations to the following students who were successful in being selected to represent Combined<br />
Independent <strong>School</strong>s. This is an outstanding achievement as the selection trials are very competitive. The CIS<br />
teams compete at NSW PSSA <strong>St</strong>ate Championships and have been very successful in past years.<br />

Gala Day<br />
The annual CSSA Southern Metropolitan Zone Gala Day will be held on Thursday 9 August at Barden Ridge. As<br />
usual we will be entering teams in the netball, soccer and newcombe ball competitions. Team selection trials<br />
for all students wishing to participate will take place during sport time in Weeks 7 to 9.<br />
We look forward to a fun Gala Day together!<br />
